How I work

First principles, then a prototype. I break a problem down to what actually makes it hard, then build something small the same week and iterate — cycling between the big picture and the details, pulling in new ingredients each pass, until it works.

New fields, fast. I learn an unfamiliar domain deeply enough to build its core systems, not just talk about them. I spent eight years doing that in insurance — one of the most jargon-dense, regulation-heavy industries there is — across dozens of clients who each ran their world differently.

Idea to production, end to end. I take a build from concept to architecture to working system to people actually using it, without needing a team to hand it off to. Then I make it repeatable — training colleagues, leaving reusable tooling behind, so nothing bottlenecks on me.

Shipped means used. I don't measure by demos. The systems I've built sit in teams' daily workflows — one became the base an entire team now builds new initiatives on.
